Connor Wickham opened the scoring before out of contract midfielder Ed Upson struck Town's second. Wickham added two more following Upson's strike completing his own hat-trick and sending the Blues in 4-0 up at half time.

Worse was to come for the home side, when Town added a further two goals in the opening five minutes of the second half, with academy product Dean Bowditch scoring Town's fifth and Tom Eastman scoring Town's sixth of the game shortly after.

Republic of Ireland youth international Ronan Murray made it seven just after the hour mark, before Chris Kiwomya's side completed the scoring five minutes before time with Eastman completing his brace for Town.

The result means Town's second string finish in 4th position in the Totesport Football Combination East division, with Luton Town taking the title.
