Run out of time?
Royle has still not made his intentions clear on whether he will retain the services of the 24 year old former Sheffield Wednesday Striker but Proudlock will spend the rest of the season on the sidelines after it was confirmed that he will need to undergo an operation for tendinitis in his knee.

Adam has struggled with the knee injury ever since he arrived at Portman Road, on a short term deal after he was sacked from Sheffield Wednesday for breaching club discipline.

Ipswich was widely believed to be Proudlock's "last chance saloon" for his dying career and he only made 3 starts and 6 substitue appearances for Town, failing to score a goal in a Team bereft of fit srikers.

His last appearance for Ipswich was off the bench against another of his fomer emplyers, Wolverhampton Wanderers.
