Price Signs on for Two Years

The youngster who has played once for the blues senior side signed the deal which expires in June 2006 as his current contract expired at the end of next month.

Speaking of signing the deal to the Official Club Website, 19 year old Lewis said: “I spoke to the manager on Monday and didn’t really need any time to think over the deal.

"I was happy with the terms and just asked the Club to get the paperwork sorted out as soon as possible and I’m delighted to have signed today. I am really enjoying my time at Ipswich and feel I am learning all the time working alongside Kelvin Davis and coach Malcolm Webster.”

Price is the second Town player that is out of contract to sign a new one, with Chris Makin being the other by putting pen to paper on a two month deal, which will be increased to a year subject to fitness.

Jim Magilton, Fabian Wilnis, Jermaine Wright, Richard Naylor and John McGreal are all currentley considering new deals whilst Alun Armstrong and Chris Bart-Williams have been told they can leave the club when their contract expires on 30th June 2004.
