Price Makes Cambridge Debut

Teenage striker John Turner scored the first hat-trick of his career for Cambridge to give a huge boost to a side who had managed only five goals in their previous eight home league games.

Although Price was beaten in the 41st minute by Broughton to put Rushden just one behind at 2-1, Price later did well to save an almost certain goal from the same player on 49 minutes and just three minutes later John Turner scored Cambridges third to secure all three points for the home side.

With Price on a months loan at Cambridge United young Irish keeper Shane Supple will be on the first teams bench for the trip to Sunderland tommorow but Town are able to recall Price at 24 hours notice if they wish to do so.
