Speaking in this morning's EADT, Peters said: "Canada has a good chance if we play as we can. We have a lot of good players in Europe that are in with a chance.
"This is going to be a big year for me. I have another chance and a new manager to impress. I enjoy playing full-back. I still have a lot to learn in that position but the coaches say I'm doing a good job.
"It is a buzz when you are playing and winning games. You always want to be playing and for the past two games I have just been happy about being back in the side. That means a great deal to me."
