Town boss Roy Keane has confirmed that the club have accepted a bit for an un-named striker, with Counago and Lisbie both reported to have been the player in question according to numerous reports this afternoon.

With Lisbie included in this evenings squad, and Counago continuing to be missing, due to injury according to Keane, reports suggesting that the popular Spaniard is likely to leave the club are unlikely to go away anytime in the near future.

Meanwhile left back Ben Thatcher also misses out, and is still recovering from the same injury that ruled him out at the end of last season. Jaime Peters however, is included in the squad and is someone that Keane has admitted he wants to take a look at.

"I'd like to give Jaime 45 minutes at Clacton. We have to be careful with him because he has only come back to us a couple of days ago and you have to be aware of the jet lag." Keane told the Official Club Website.

"We've had a look at him in training and what I like about Jaime is his enthusiasm and energy so we will look to give him a half. We've also got Shane O'Connor and Kevin Lisbie in the squad as well."

Town Squad: Burke, Cawley, Upson, McLoughlin, Ainsley, Peters, Griffiths, Carson, Meekings, Lisbie, Hyam, Grace, Lambe, Murray, McKeown, Dunbar, O'Connor, Eastman, Brown.
