New Manager Already Chosen - Reports

Magilton was today sacked after just under three years at the club with club owner Marcus Evans citing that the club had not made the progress he had hoped for in the current campaign.

The former Northern Ireland international midfielder failed to improve his Town side from last seasons side which finished 8th with 69 points, and the Blues at best this season can achieve 66 points in 9th, despite the injection of £12M by club owner Marcus Evans.

It's almost certain that the new manager to the club will be experienced and of a higher profile than Magilton, although the departure of assistant manager John Gorman is likely to rule the previously linked Glenn Hoddle out of the running for the job, as the two would amost certainly come with each other.
