Naylor: Goals Just a Bonus

Speaking to the Official Club Website after the weekend win against Derby when he scored his sixth of the season, Town's longest serving player said: "It's always nice to get on the scoresheet but I see myself as a defender now and am more concerned with the other end,"

"I have not played up front for a year now and all my work in training is done at the back so I am very much a defender now and that takes priority.

"I'm judged more on helping the team keep a clean sheet than how many goals I score, although I have managed to nick a few this season and that's been a real bonus.

"It was an important one against Derby and the free-kick is something we have practised in training a few times. I made an initial run to show Jim where I was going, then managed to lose my marker and head in at the far post but it was the quality delivery from Jim that made it happen."
