The former Town skipper broke his wrist during a collison with Crystal Palace forward Victor Moses in the recent clash between the two sides but the 30 year old says it will not stop him from taking part in first team action for the Blues this weekend.

"The bone is knitting together and it will not stop me playing at the weekend. It is the nobbly bit in my wrist and it is no big deal." he told the Ipswich Evening Star.

"If I was to have fallen on it against Rangers or Blackpool I would not have felt it. But I might be able to play without an injection at Leicester."
