New boss looking to shake things up
Speaking to ITFM of his promotion to manager, Magilton said: "I am very proud to be named Manager of such a wonderful club, Bryan and I can't wait to get going with the players, we will hit the ground running!"

After a dissappointing 15th placed finish in 2005/2006 in what turned out to be Royle's last campaign, the new boss has set his stall out to return Ipswich to the top tier of English football: "The Premiership is the goal - it has to be the goal. Everything about the Club is Premiership in all but status," he said.

Magilton and Klug are looking to begin their revolution with immediate effect, starting on the training ground, which has been switched back to Bent Lane from the playford Road complex and the players have been set a new training regime.

They will report back officially on June 26th but almost half of the squad are chomping at the bit so much ITFM can reveal that they are already back getting extra fitness sessions in. Amongst the early returners is Town stawlart Richard Naylor, who will play his testimonial against the Wembley play-off winning side on September 2nd.
