Magilton losing patience with Nugent?

The clubs have agreed the deal with Town paying a loan fee until the end of the season for the Pompey striker.

It appears though that Jim is getting impatient and may turn his efforts elsewhere to secure extra players for the run in to the end of the season.

"I think it will be this week and that will be it - if he is not here I will look elsewhere" said Magilton.

"I want someone in and you are never sure how quickly they are going to settle in and what kind of impact they are going to make.

"We have an agreement with Portsmouth and at the end of the day the lad may be reluctant to come as he is not fully fit. We have to be guided by him and the Portsmouth medical team.

"We have done everything we can at this end and are now just waiting for an answer."
