Leicester Reserves 3-2 Ipswich Reserves

Ricky Muggleton put the home side ahead against a young Town side just five minutes before the break after young Irish keeper Shane Supple could only parry Louis Dodds' shot.

Shortly after the break Town were on level terms through Spanish striker Pablo Counago scoring his second of the season for the reserves after goalkeeper Conrad Logan lost his footing while attempting a clearence leaving Counago with an empty net to slot the ball home.

Town's turnaround on the night from 1-0 down was complete shortly before the hour mark when promising Irish striker Billy Clarke hit a powerful volley past Logan giving the young keeper no chance to send Town into the lead.

However the lead did not last long as just five minutes later second half substitute Usman Gondal put away a free header from a Peter Canero cross to make things all square at 2-2.

At this point there only ever looked to be one winner, and the third and final goal of the evening for the home side came in the dying seconds with Peter Canero again being involved supplying the cross to Louis Dodds at the far post to send Town's second string back to Suffolk pointless.
