Keane expresses ODea disappointment

The on-loan Celtic man has missed the last nine games with a knee injury he sustained with the Republic of Ireland in September but played over an hour for his country against Norway on Wednesday.

But Keane has revealed that the defender was only supposed to play for the first half.

He told the club's official website: "The agreement with Ireland was that he played a half but he didn't - and now he has come back to us with a tight hamstring. Frustrating is one way of putting it.

"I have no problem with players going away on international duty and we felt it was beneficial for him to play 45 minutes, but I wasn't happy when he came out for the second half.

"We will see how he is but we have to be careful because he's not our player - he's Celtic's."
