Lee: Adds to the injured strikers at Portman Road
Royle has already brought in Henri Kanu, a cousin of Nawanko Kanu, on trial but also wants to add a loan player to bloster his limited striking options.

With Bowditch out on loan at Wycombe, Parkin still a few weeks away from fitness, Forster out until April and Lee now out for 3 weeks, Royle wants to move quickly to ensure he maintains his clubs recent rich run of form.

It was reported at the weekend that the two players Royle was waiting to hear back from had failed. Rumours circulating pointed to Guissepe Rossi of Manchester United and Lupoli of Arsenal.

Dean McDonald scored the winner at Gresty Road after replacing Lee and is Royle's only realistic option ahead of the game at Molineux but Big Joe remains adamant that their could be another arrival by the time Ipswich take on Leicester on the 25th, he said: “The lad I'm after may still be available and it is bubbling along, although time and circumstances make it unlikely to happen before the weekend.

“We have a trialist coming in who we will take a look at. He has been recommended to us by a friend, he is on the doorstep and as I understand it he would be free to sign if needed.”

Town are on an unbeaten run of 8 league games but looked far from the side they have become before the presence of Alan Lee up front.
