Ipswich Town remain unbeaten in all of their pre-season matches. Jim had special praise for the win against former Championship team West Bromwich Albion, who Town beat 2 - 1, thanks to goals from Miller and Lisbie.

Town's four summer acquisitions, Pim Balkestein, Gareth McAuley, Kevin Lisbie and Richard Wright, have all been involved in some part of the friendly matches. Jim is pleased with how they are fitting in, and the developing relationships between themselves and the other members of the Ipswich Town squad.

Jim: "It takes time for players to slot in. The more you play the easier it becomes, and we have had the right amount, and right mix of pre-season games."

Towns next and final pre-season test comes on Monday night, where West Ham are the visitors at Portman Road. This is likely to give Jim and fans alike how the team can fair against high class opposition. Jim has a full squad to choose from, apart from David Norris, who has not yet featured in any pre-season games due to his on going heel injury. He is also set to miss the opening two games of the forthcoming season.

There is only 6 days left until the new season gets under way, which kicks off at Preston.
