The new Tractor Boys manager has been in full charge for just under a week but is already making plans to bring success to Portman Road.
Speaking to the Evening Star, Jewell said: "Having one man calling the shots here makes it easier.
"At Derby there were a lot of people who wanted to have their say.
"To put your heart and soul into the club you need to be based locally and I will be moving to the area.
"My priority at the moment is to get points on the board."
