Ipswich V Leicester at Portman Road - Match Preview

Anderson back in Town squad

Ipswich winger Paul Anderson is set to return from a groin injury for the home clash with Leicester.

The 25-year-old has admitted he missed the Tractor Boys' last game at Blackpool because he tried to rush back before he was ready. He has benefited from the international break and will be back to face the Foxes.

Mick McCarthy will be without left-back Aaron Cresswell, who completes a two-game ban for his red card against Barnsley.

McCarthy will be tempted to stick with the side that delivered an excellent second-half performance and ended the club's five-match winless run at Bloomfield Road.

Anthony Knockaert will miss Leicester's trip through suspension.

Knockaert was booked for the fifth time this season during the home defeat to Nottingham Forest and the French winger will serve a one-match ban on Saturday.

Chris Wood comes back into the reckoning after the striker missed the Forest game due to New Zealand's World Cup play-off against Mexico, while midfielder Andy King (Wales), defender Liam Moore (England Under-21s) and goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel (Denmark) have all returned unscathed from international duty with their respective countries.

However, Sean St Ledger is back on the sidelines after suffering a groin/abdominal injury while away with the Republic of Ireland. Fellow defender Ritchie De Laet resumed light training on Thursday morning after his shin problem.
