Ipswich play their first game against relegated sides on September 11th with a trip to Birmingham City, and are at home to Sunderland to face old boys Kelvin Davies and Tommy Miller on September 23rd.
This is followed by one of the first local rilvary matches with Colchester away on September 30th and then Southend away on the 21st October. Town play other relegated side West Brom on 14th October.
The first of the East Anglian derbies takes place on Saturday 18th November at Portman road, the match at Carrow Road taking place on the 21st April.
Town end their season on Sunday 6th May with a home match against Cardiff City, the same fixture that began the 2005-06 season.
