Haynes: looking to retain his place
Forster, who has been dogged by injuries since his summer move from Reading, will have a scan on the troublesome knee today.

He had hoped to make a return to Royle's squad for this weekned's clash with the Blades but his knee injury has had a reaction to light work and rules him out of the game.

Alan Lee will be give his first start after his switch from Cardiff and is more than likely set to partner the impressive Danny Haynes.

The introduction of a target man though will allow Royle to consider Dean McDonald and Dean Bowditch as viable options.

Adam Proudlock is set to miss out again, as he is still not fully fit after recovering from injury and Sam Parkin, a long term casualty, is reported to be making good progress, since having the pin taken out of his broken ankle.
