Forster wants to go out with a bang

Forster's summer move has been blighted by injury
Forster is currently in a rich vein of form since returning from his second cartliage operation of the season. Despite not even being fully fit yet, Forster has scored three goals in his last three appearances, with his performance against Derby County on Saturday earning him a place in the Football League's Championship Team of the Week and Nicky is looking to make it four in four at Home Park this weekend and help Town finish the season on a high.

Speaking to the EADT he said: "Plymouth is a game where we want to go and give a good account of ourselves. We want to go out on a high and after beating Derby and a win at Plymouth would give us something to work on. It is a long summer and if you lose the last game it is an even longer summer waiting to win again."

Of the victory against Derby last weekend, Forster commented: "β€œIt was good to give the fans something to cheer about and with Jim going as well it was a good day. We have not given the fans an awful lot to cheer about this season so it was nice to thank them. For 24,000 to turn up again, with nothing on the match was incredible and speaks volumes for the supporters here.”

The win over Derby ended an eight match winless streak that the Blues were relieved to put an end to and Nicky is clearly hoping they finish the season on a new streak of two wins from two.
