Foley told the cLub website "I love the game and liked what he was saying about how he sees the team playing and developing and that was very important to me.
"I know what Jim and Bryan Klug expect from me and I can't wait to get going. This is a terrific football club and I'm really excited about being part of it here.
"You can tell there is a real buzz about the place and Jim's enthusiasm is overwhelming. I just wish pre-season started tomorrow."
