De Vos one of a number of doubts for Preston
The Republic of Ireland international is thought to making good progress from a hamstring injury which has seen Lee miss the last two matches.

Towns fitness coach Simon Thadani told the club website: "Alan has been putting a lot of work in on the training ground and is making progress."

Lee is expected to return to training on Thursday. Physio Dave Williams commented: "He has done all that we have asked of him so far but the real test will be when he resumes training and puts the hamstring under real stress."

Fabian Wilnis is thought to be doubtful for the weekend match after injuring his knee in a first half collision with Richard Naylor in Saturday's game with Leicester.

Naylor meanwhile is being rested from training whilst fellow centre half Jason De Vos is suffering from an athritic toe.

Adam Proudlock has also emerged as another injury worry after being withdrawn at half-time from Town's reserve team game against Southampton.

Proudlock's injury however is not considered to be too serious and he could still make the substitute bench for Saturdays match at Preston.
