The New Zealand international could make his debut against rivals Norwich on Sunday after signing on loan from Plymouth this week and is determined to get stuck in from the off.
He said: "The manager (Roy Keane) said that he wanted a target man. That's what I am all about, bringing people into play and ruffling a few feathers.
"I see it as a massive chance for me, and I will be giving it 100%. I'm definitely confident that I can get goals here, and I believe that I am in my prime.
"I believe this club can go up. They certainly started the season looking that way."
