Derby Post-match reaction:

Last updated : 24 April 2006 By Sam Davidson
Royle felt Town were lucky to be level at half-time "We were fortunate to be level at the interval today but the introduction of Jaime Peters gave us more bounce and better balance. We had more width and more threat."

The Town boss praised Nicky Forster who scored his third goal in three games:"He is a threat and we haven't had that sort of threat for most of the season. You are only as good as your forwards."

Derby Manager Terry Westley was left lamenting their poor away form: "We have won only two away games all season and you could see why today. With our away record it's a miracle we will start in the Championship next season.

"There is a lack of mental strength after we fall behind. We were poor in the second half and I am annoyed we've not got anything out of the game."

The victory leaves Town in 12th place with just Plymouth away to play.
