Collins returns to Portman Road, whilst Horlock loan extended

19 year old Aidan Collins spent two months out on loan at the Causeway stadium and made 5 appearances, scoring one goal for the League Two promotion candidates.

The loan comes to an end this Wednesday, however and Collins is returning to Town with his footballing future in the balance. Aidan's contract at Portman Road expires this summer and Joe Royle has told the youngster that he is free to find another club.

Collins was not the only Town player on loan at the Causeway Stadium, with Dean Bowditch still there, though he has failed to get among the goals since his move.

33 year old midfield anchorman, Kevin Horlock is enjoying his spell at Doncaster and has extended the deal by a further month, with the option to be recalled by Town at any time with 24 hours notice.

Horlock is another Ipswich player with an uncertain future after he was also told that his expiring contract will not be renenwed past the summer.

Ronnie Moore's Oldham are still monitoring his situation, although an attempt to sign the former West Ham man failed in January due to high wage demands.
