Chairman drops hint on FA post

Frank Pattison recently resigned from the post following the resignation of Adam Crozier as chief executive.

"I don't suppose I'll be chairman of Ipswich forever," Sheepshanks says on the BBC website.

"I am sure they will find a man better for the job in due course. I think the FA will need to make their own decisions about future appointments."

"I feel passionately about the game of football, I am almost as passionate about the national game as I am about Ipswich Town."
