The 30 year old stopper's contract at Portman Road expires at the end of June and Town boss Roy Keane surprised many by not offering the former Wigan Athletic defender a new contract.
Wright has been linked with the London club on a number of occasions in the last few weeks, with Burnley also said to have been interested.
