The North Stand of the ground is being renamed the Sir Bobby Robson stand in honour of the man who tasted UEFA Cup and FA Cup glory with Town. Robson sadly passed away following a long battle against cancer in July of this year.

Speaking to the Official Club Website of the ticket sales to date, Ticket Office Manager John Ford said: "Tickets have been selling well for the game and as well as the attraction of Newcastle coming to Portman Road, there is obviously the Sir Bobby Robson factor and the stand being renamed.

"We are closing in on 25,000 tickets sold and by kick-off on Saturday, we could have another one or two thousand on top of that. As always with a bigger crowd, we advise supporters to get to the game early."
