Bowditch on England Performance

England drew 1-1 with the Czech's at Carrow Road, with Bowditch being named man of the match after supplying the cross for Derby midfielder Lee Holmes' goal and generally impressing the 20,000 crowd.

Speaking to the Official Club Website, Bowditch admitted: "I was pleased, both with my own and the team's performance. We were annoyed with the goal we let in because it was a set-piece and we hardly ever concede from set-pieces.

"My pass to Lee Holmes which resulted in our goal was just like the one I scored against Coventry; a long ball from me over on the right and all Lee had to do was tap it in.

"It's a lot harder in the middle because as a wide man you have more space but I like to think that I'm versatile and the manager, Martin Hunter, can put me where he wants,"
