Blackpool V Ipswich at Bloomfield Road - Match Preview

Basham back for Blackpool?

Chris Basham may ease Blackpool's injury worries somewhat ahead of their Sky Bet Championship clash with Ipswich.

The former Bolton midfielder is back in training following an ankle injury and will be assessed close to kick-off as the Tangerines bid to extend their seven-match unbeaten run.

The list of casualties is long, though, and includes Craig Cathcart and Nathan Delfouneso, both out with knee injuries, Bob Harris, who has a shoulder injury, and midfield duo Barry Ferguson and Isaiah Osbourne, who both have ankle problems.

Manchester United loanee Tyler Blackett may make his home debut for the fourth of five games which boss Paul Ince is banned for.

Aaron Cresswell is suspended as Ipswich make the trip aiming to end a five-match winless run.

The highly-rated full-back saw red deep into injury time in last Friday's 1-1 draw against Barnsley and now starts a two-match suspension, with Tyrone Mings set to step in at Bloomfield Road.

Midfielder Paul Anderson is a doubt due to a groin injury and will be assessed ahead of the encounter.

Boss Mick McCarthy admits he is considering freshening up his squad following four draws and a defeat from Town's last five games.
