Bent will play tonight but Town will receive no cash

As part of the deal that took Darren Bent from Ipswich to Charlton in the summer, Ipswich can potentially net another £500,000 IF Bent ever takes part in a competitive game for his country, whilst still at Charlton.

Sven Goran Erriksson has named Bent in his starting line-up for tonights friendly against Uraguay, which is England's last game before Erriksson has to pick his World Cup squad for Germany, so a good performance from the former Ipswich academy graduate could be worth its wait in gold to the club come the summer.

The match is being screened live on the BBC from Anfield from 20.05pm.

Alternatively, Sky Sports are showing Walves vs Paraguay, where Town fans can get the chance to watch our own Lewis Price get his second cap.
