"Scott has been in the first-team squad this season but hasn't had a chance and we need to get him games," Town boss Jim Magilton told the club's official website.
"It's been well-documented the problems we've had with a lack of reserve team matches this season and we need to see him playing competitive football so we can have a look at him.
"He's travelling down to Wrexham with a view to him staying there initially for a month and then taking it from there."
