Independent Fan Zone Column (Middlesbrough Home)

BluesWeb.co.uk editor Justin Johnson's brief thought's on Saturday's game which firstly published in Monday's Independent newspaper are now online for all to see.

For selected home games throughout the 2009/10 season we will be providing a fans view of home games to the Independent newspaper's sports pull-out.

Review of the Action
After just 22 seconds going ahead following good work by both debutants it looked like the new signings may have done the trick. Unfortunately for the rest of the game it was a case of new faces but same old story as once again we drew another game in which we took the lead in something which has blighted our season.

Town's Future Prospects
With results going against us today we're now one point and one position above the relegation zone and are getting sucked right back in, Roy Keane who signed seven of the lads starting out there today declared at the start of the season that any average manager can finish mid-table in the Championship. Those comments look a little foolish now to say the least.
